Pesah starts in a few days (Yay!) and that means you need to get creative in the kitchen. Seven days without the common cereals for breakfast is not an easy take for many (we also struggle to think out of the box sometimes), or maybe you are just one of those that are tired of eating masoth (or one of its cousins: farfel, meal, etc) for ALL-N-EVERY meal. We have good news! Try these 10 masoth-free simple breakfast ideas that go beyond Passover Granola and Passover Toasts

1. Almond Meal Porridge with Berries

This almond flour porridge is superb because it is paleo, low carb, and the recipe has dairy-free options as well. I have made this with almond meal (skin-on ground almonds) as well and without the egg (just have to adjust the liquid with more coconut milk or another dairy-free milk of choice)If for any reason you want a nut-free porridge, try this coconut flour porridge or this quinoa porridge instead.

2. North-African Style Poached Eggs in Spicy Tomato Sauce

I cannot get enough from this shashukah recipe. It is hearty and super delicious. If you don’t like spicy things you can just leave the chili pepper out and it will be just fine (even though technically won’t be “shashukah” anymore, but still you will have delicious poached eggs. Yum!) You can eat this with potatoes or sweet potatoes in any variety (roasted, baked, pancakes or waffles. Yummy!) or if you are filling the creativity vibes around, try this 90-Seconds Microwave Paleo Bread, made with almond flour or almond meal.

3. Baked Potato with Ricotta & Tomatoes

If you are more of a cheese lover, you definitely want to try this combination made in heaven. Just 6 ingredients, super easy to make and satisfying! Are you managing your carb intake? Use Sweet Potato.

4. Cheesy Potato Breakfast Casserole with Cheddar & Tomatoes

You prefer the casserole version of the potato-cheese pair? Grate the potatoes, add sun-dried tomatoes and cheddar cheese, and don’t forget your biding ingredients (eggs, milk) You can always substitute dairy milk for non-dairy. Want a Paleo version? Try this one

5. Passover Crepes with Cream Cheese and Smoked Salmon

Classic, elegant, simple and nutrient-dense!

 6. Crustless Vegetarian Mini Quiche

You can put your veggie scraps to good use with this easy and classic breakfast.

7. Fluffy Almond Flour Pancakes

Beautiful, fluffy, yummy and guilt-free pancakes.

8. Berries Smoothie Bowl

Love love love Minimalist Baker Posts! They are mostly vegan and Gluten Free so go check her out!

9. Chocolate Chia Pudding

Extremely easy, satisfying, guilt-free and always delicious! Win, win, win win!

10. 5-Ingredients Sweet Potato Breakfast Bowl

Last but not least, this out-of-this-world-super-easy Sweet Potato Bowl: is paleo, vegan and whole30 approved! 🙂

We hope you found some inspiration from around the blogosphere with these masoth-free breakfast ideas so you can create your very own. We salute you from the Holy Land!

Until Next time!
